Teach Kentucky is a selective teacher recruitment program seeking to attract motivated college graduates to teach in Kentucky’s public schools, enhancing the quality of education for our students and enriching our civic life by retaining these bright young minds in the region. Based in Louisville—a vibrant, forward-thinking city with a rich history—Teach Kentucky places the majority of its teachers within our metropolitan area.

As a sales associate at Fan Outfitters, I have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of customers every shift. Through this experience, I have been able to grow my customer service and sales skills.

As the director of Bellarmine University Dance Marathon (BUDM) I oversee an executive board of 9 coordinators who work year-round to fundraise and recruit dancers. At the end of our fundraising year, we reveal our total donation that will be given to Norton Children's Hospital, at a 6-hour long dance marathon event. As the director, I work with a faculty advisor at Bellarmine University as well as a representative from Norton Children's Hospital to ensure that our executive board is aware of every opportunity offered and to guide the executive board throughout the year.

As the student director of the Bellarmine Orientation Team, I oversee a leadership team of 7 students that put together the training days and logistics of orientation. With the help of the Bellarmine Orientation Leadership Team, I also oversee our Orientation student staff of 150 students.
