I just relocated to Dallas Texas from Sydney, Australia. I recently passed the NPTE on my first attempt in May 2022, and received my physical therapy license from the Texas PT Board.Education is an idea I feel is very important to my career. After receiving my first Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2002, I pursued a Master's degree in Stroke and Neurosciences, and a second Master's in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney Australia 2014. In addition, I have extensive continuing education in manual therapy, McKenzie treatment approach, fascial release, applying plaster, Pilates and women’s health.In terms of clinical experience, I have nine years in various settings in Hong Kong, and five years of experience in private practice in Australia. I am clinically competent across orthopedics, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, aged care, woman’s health and community physical therapy. My most recent title was Senior Physical Therapist, and in the past I have supervised junior PTs and even managed a physiotherapy clinic. This included administration, accounting, manpower allocation, business development, and running and instructing physiotherapy assistant certification programs.In addition to the above, I have received rave reviews from many of my clients and employers based on my work ethic, friendly attitude, and attention to detail. Letters of recommendation are available upon request. Lastly, I am trilingual, being fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. I hope my knowledge, experience, and skills can be of benefit to patients here in Texas.
