Hi! I’m Abby, and I’m a Media and Journalism major with minors in Data Science and Hispanic Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). I plan to pursue a career in foreign correspondence focusing on enterprise reporting on Latin American politics and economics. This past semester I studied and worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I reported in Spanish and English and studied Latin American corruption. I am currently looking into post-grad opportunities and would love to continue doing international reporting and cultural immersion. I would describe myself as an ambitious and curious student eager to become a global citizen through interdisciplinary education and empathetic conversation. I love to connect with others and am looking forward to meeting people in the journalism industry.
