Under the influence of my parents, who cultivated in me a fascination for the world-at-large, I inherited a love of experiences through travel, science, culture and the arts. This sparked my passion for creating innovative customer experiences that intersect human connection with technology, storytelling and immersive engagement.Serving as Chief Experience and Strategy Officer at The Franklin Institute, I shape world-class visitor experiences to maximize revenue and mission potential for nearly one million visitors a year. I also oversee the acquisition of all special and traveling exhibits which include renown brands such as Marvel, Jurassic World, Crayola, Harry Potter, and Disney. Ultimately, our business model relies on these products to stimulate curiosity in our consumers and drive visitation and membership. Challenging myself and the place-based industry to push the boundaries around customer experiences is my passion and mission. I believe that promoting curiosity, exploration and creative thinking, while facilitating entertaining content with customer first experiential engagement, helps provide fuel for a better future. Unquestionably, the most meaningful part of my job is sparking discussions and creating access points to disciplines that propel innovation.My career experience in non-profit, government and entertainment, including appointments at the National Geographic Society and the National Gallery of Art, has allowed me to do what I love: drive consumer appreciation with evocative experiences that fire up curiosity. Inspired by my diverse and dynamic team, I am most engaged when creating meaningful change that moves people while positioning the Institute as a world-wide leader in promoting engagement around science and technology.
