In my second year of Behavioural Psychology I have the possibility to work in a 7-week full time placement in a school in the Limestone District School Board. This allows me the opportunity to recall my knowledge from the Applied Behavioural Analysis courses I have taken, and apply it to real world situations. This placement offers practice in the implementation of ABA techniques using a bheaviour modification plan in a classroom setting.

Working in a retail setting, this job consisted of greeting customers upon entry to the store, assisting customers in locating products, operating cash registers and handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with LCBO, tobacco, and lottery sales. Carrying the responsibility of proper transactions as well as identifying customers when purchasing tobacco or LCBO products gave me the maturity and confidence to guarantee the safety of people in the community.
