As the Executive Director of T3 Foundation Inc., I serve as the chief operating officer for our educational assistance programs and capacity training programs designed for Filipino youth. I am also a health promotion practitioner and freelance health research consultant with experience from different public health research projects under the public health research institution EpiMetrics, Inc. My focus is on health promotion and qualitative research and I have worked on research projects in partnership with different organizations like the Philippine Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Cancer Center, World Health Organization, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, and Philippine Institute for Development Studies. I am also currently part of the Health Sciences program faculty in Ateneo de Manila University, where I teach 2 subjects, Foundations of Health Promotion and Approaches to Health Literacy, to university students. I served as the Central Team leader for the Ophelia (Optimising Health Literacy and Access to Health Services) Philippines Study, which pioneered the introduction of the Ophelia process in the Philippines through the 17th National Health Research Forum for Action's AHEAD (Accelerating Universal Health Care through Health Policy and Systems Research) institutional grant awarded to EpiMetrics, Inc. under the Philippine DOH’s Health Promotion Bureau. I was awarded the 2023 Young Achiever Award under the Australian Alumni Excellence Awards by the Australian Embassy in the Philippines for my contributions in public health research, health promotion, and health literacy.
