Working with independent local businesses to refine and improve their marketing and branding. Self-taught creative marketing skills through freelance work, conducting marketing analyses and research, develop marketing strategies, and presenting efficient plans.

My role as an Events Coordinator stimulated my dedication to delivering unique and high-quality projects both within and outside of the workplace. I contributed to a successful team of coordinators that achieved over 135 events in our first year of opening. Working with clients from the initial sale, through the planning process, and to the realisation of their vision on the day was incredibly rewarding and allowed me to thrive on an interpersonal level with customers, colleagues, and suppliers. As well as being responsible for staffing and recruitment, management of the front of house team taught me the value of cultivating a strong teamwork ethic, ensuring everyone stays focused and motivated, but also has fun creating lasting memories for clients. Requiring exceptional organisation and leadership skills, my time in events planning harboured my natural creativity and empowered a new-found enthusiasm for marketing and creative design. From table scaping and decoration set up, to graphic design of menus, brochures, and social media posts, events work furthered my creativity every day, ensuring constant attention to detail and an appreciation of the small details that have a big impact. Beyond day-to-day coordination of events, my role involved developing the marketing and branding of the venue by growing our presence on digital marketing platforms, updating socials, and conducting analyses to ensure engagement with moving trends. I am excited to continue my career in events and marketing, with this role as the perfect starting point.

Hong Kong Sar

During my year abroad in Hong Kong, I worked as a Drama teacher at a renowned International Youth Theatre, planning and delivering high-quality classes for students aged between 2-14 years old. Excellent communication and organisational skills were necessary to this role, to ensure that I met parents' expectations for the education of their children and provided consistent and positive results. My time at Faust was invaluable to my professional and personal development, and allowed me to increase my general confidence as well as to hone excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
