Current• Oversee daily programs and operations for the Center for African Immigrants and Refugees Organization (CAIRO), which encompasses developing, implementing and monitoring strategic plans, financial operations, as well as overseeing various organizational policies and procedures. • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships, both internally and externally, while simultaneously inspiring others to support our mission and vision to create a just and equitable society where everyone can thrive. • Establish and administer organizational budgets, ensure funding used for various programs and initiatives is accurate reflection of organizational priorities. • Foster collaborative environment with public officials, other organizations, and individuals who are actively working on and influencing issues that affect Minnesota and Oregon’s black immigrants and refugee diverse communities. • Nurture teamwork environment amongst staff, strengthen accountability and recognition for results through all levels of the organization. • Devise internal controls, human resource policies, procedures, training, and recruitment programs for volunteers and staff members to ensure positive experience and organizational growth. • Enable financial stability and development of growth strategies for multiple revenue streams, including grant funding, educational, venue attendance, and tenant lease programs. • Sound fiscal policies and management of accounting, including preparation and presentation of quarterly and annual P&L reports for Board of Directors and funder's committees. • Form and implement successful annual fundraising plans that include strategies and goals for acquiring, renewing, and upgrading support from individual and institutional donors.
