District Immunization Officer (Dio)-Epi,Mch Program
CurrentDevelop and implement immunization policies, strategies, and action plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.• Coordinate and supervise immunization activities, including vaccination campaigns, routine immunization sessions, and outreach programs.• Ensure availability and proper storage of vaccines and immunization supplies at health facilities and outreach sites.• Monitor immunization coverage rates and identify barriers to vaccination uptake, implementing targeted interventions to address gaps.• Provide technical support and guidance to health facility staff, vaccinators, and community health workers on immunization protocols, cold chain management, and vaccine safety.• Conduct training sessions and capacity-building activities for healthcare personnel and community volunteers involved in immunization services.• Collaborate with district health authorities, partners, and stakeholders to advocate for immunization and raise awareness about the importance of vaccination.• Monitor and evaluate the performance of immunization services, analyzing data to assess progress towards program objectives and identify areas for improvement.• Ensure compliance with national immunization guidelines, protocols, and reporting requirements, maintaining accurate records and submitting timely reports.• Represent the district in meetings, workshops, and forums related to immunization, sharing experiences and best practices with other stakeholders.
