In conjunction with my PGCE.My first placement was in a Year 5 class.My second placement was in a Year 3 class.

This role allowed me to work with children age 4-14 with different needs. My main responsibility was to lead 1:1 sessions with the children to enable them to develop their knowledge in Maths and English.On top of this I provided detailed feedback for the parents at the end and would often work collaboratively with them to ensure the child is able to reach their full potential.

This job requires me to provide exceptional customer service skills as throughout the shift I have to interact with customers. Working for The Deltic Group meant that I would normally bartend but also had the opportunity to work on the reception and work with promo. This role has enhanced my skills in time management and communication. Moreover, interacting with customers from bartending and promo has enabled me to act more confidently in sales.

Working at the Student Union as a Catering Assistant and then progressing on to becoming a Catering supervisor I was able to demonstrate leadership and organisational skills. Due to the nature of the job, I was required to work quickly and efficiently as possible - maintaining high standards in the food being served.
