Mattex Dubai LLC is a company spread across 5 countries with an annual turnover of $350m and employing 1300+ people. My profile reports directly to the Group Finance Manager, lead a team of 3 members to perform financial analysis for the group spread across 5 countries with 6 production plants. Oversee the current drawbacks in the accounting program and develop standardized accounting policies and procedures.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:· Providing support to the Group Finance Manager in design and implementation of a system (Tagetik) that automates and controls the Group’s financial and management reporting and analysis· Run the monthly consolidation process; consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc)· Ensure that intercompany balances are reconciled on a periodic basis and taking corrective actions as and when required· Ensure accounting is in line with IFRS and Corporate policy· Prepare monthly Group Management reports and analysis.· Providing support to the Group Finance Manager in design and implementation of Business intelligence/dashboard· Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports and analysis· Prepare Group balance sheet accounts reconciliations· Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function· Providing support to Group Finance Manager in design and implementation of a planning/forecasting system by developing financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis· Providing support to Group Finance Manager in timely completion of statutory audits for all the Business Units· Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions
