Manage and control parts receiving, parts storage and supply of parts on production lines with zero line stoppage target Develop department targets aligned with PSMCL strategic goals Set targets of each section/officer and guide to achieve their targets Prepare "Action Plan of the Department" and get implemented accordingly Maximize utilization of department resources to enhance productivity of the department Review and revise SOP of the department as per requirement Provide efficient support to staff for effective inventory control Lean inventory management Design and modification of storage layouts Design and development of parts packaging New model preparation as per decided things to do Provide technical support to staff for better utilization of ERP-lx system Liaison with IT to develop new software linked with ERP for better monitoring and control Coordinated materials flow between departments to maximize efficiency. Liaison with Local Parts Purchasing defining safety levels and criticality of parts Coordinate with Imports and logistic for in time supply of consignments Vendor interactions regarding packaging and supply feedbacks Provide training to staff and vendors for packaging and Inventory management Conduct biannual Stock Taking and liaison with Audit and Finance Implemented visual control system for improving inventory accuracy. QMS, EMS and OHSAS implementation and audit Department Targets and Projects for the coming year Budget forecast, making proposals and get approval with proper justification Liaison with Production engineering for implementation of projects
