Major Responsibilities: Preparation of the financial statements for Mutual Fund’s weekly NAV, quarterly accounts, half yearly accounts, yearly accounts; Preparation of the financial statements for Alternative Investment Fund’s quarterly accounts, yearly accounts; Preparation of the financial statements for Asset Management Company’s for management & audit and as well as for Intercompany accounts; Executing daily banking, cash management, fund management, trade payment, vendors payment; Plan and execute regular investment reports, risk assessments of investments; Check all ledger account and review the accuracy of entries (in GL, AR, AP & Investment) and rectify before the month close; Preparation of compliance checklist for different funds, asset manager, fund manager operations and input control systems; Prepare fund’s regulatory reports and timely submission to BSEC, DSE, CSE, Trustee (ICB & BGIC) and Custodian (ICB & BRAC Bank); To keep regular corresponding with Trustee and Custodian for funds operations i.e trade settlement, instruments submission, trustee meeting arrangement and any other tasks as per requirements; Prepare and review timely asset management company reports; Checking of intercompany accounts, budgeting, monitoring of payment procedures; Complying with necessary tax & VAT rule activities such as prepare of tax return u/s-75, withholding tax return u/s-75A and Salary Return u/s 108 of ITO 1984 and various issues of tax & VAT calculations; Manage and monitor team performance; Correspondence with internal & external auditor for audit compliance issues.

Major Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly and yearly company accounts, monitoring of operating expenses and posting of transactions in software; Check all ledger account and review the accuracy of entries (in GL, AR, AP & Inventory) and rectify before month close; Preparation of summary sheet of tax office requirements and documents provide to tax office; Executing daily banking, cash management, vendors payment; Vendor management (Party Ledgers) and reconciliation with accounting software and with confirmation from clients; Preparation of bank reconciliations; Correspondence to Tax and VAT office.
