About Abdul Hadi K.

Hello, my name is Abdul Hadi.I am in my final year at Toronto Metropolitan University, pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology. As I begin my scientific career, I am looking to acquire a multitude of skills essential for success in the field. My primary interest lies in exploring the intricacies of molecular biology. I am currently completing my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Dr. Jeffrey Fillingham, where I am investigating two different bromodomain proteins in the model organism Tetrahymena thermophila. This research involves extensive work in molecular cloning, PCR, protein purification, Immunofluorescence Microscopy, and Western Blotting. In addition to my educational experience, I have a robust background in customer service, administrative tasks, and file management. I collectively have over a year of professional experience in various Ontario Government offices. This experience has strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, which will translate well in further education.I am eager to contribute to research that advances our understanding of complex molecular processes. I look forward to pursuing graduate studies and eventually contributing to research in a professional environment.
