Abdullah Ali Esmail is a Yemeni journalist and human rights activist whose name comes on Al-Houthi Terrorists Wanted List. He has been leading a fairly diverse career in media, he worked as television host in the Yemeni official channel for 15 years along with producing hundreds of shows, commercials and documentaries for a variety of domestic and international venues. Currently, Esmail presents khat Ahmar, Arabic for (Red line) on Al-Ghad Al-Moshriq TV channel and runs his own media production company in Egypt. In tandem with working as an anchor and political analyst for many Arabic channels ( Arabia, Al Jazeera, Saudi news, BBC, SkyNews Arabia, Saudi 1, Abu Dhabi, Dubai…etc), Esmail is a fierce human rights activist. Moved by the grievances of A-Houthi militia against Yemeni people particularly his fellow journalists, Esmail is leading the efforts to combat and unravel their extreme ideology. He has been doing so through a series of articles and seminars some of them hosted by the Swiss Press Club and the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
