Sr. Engineer - Tendering
CurrentCollaborating with a team of 10 members and internal stakeholders for the functions pertaining to Tendering, Project Management, Procurement, Audits & Due Diligence and Contract Management. • Administering the Technical / Engineering delivery of proposals / Tenders for all assigned Tenders.• Preparing Technical documents as per Bid / Tender requirements which includes (but not limited to) methods, plans, organization, implementation strategies, specialized method statements and commissioning of projects.• Providing leadership during the tender review process in addressing any concern so as to ensure on timely delivery of the tender outputs.• Assuring that all comments received during the Tender Approvals are recorded and addressed before submittal of the proposal.• Submitting approved recommendations through SAP-ERP systems for top management/board of directors' approval. • Reviewing technical submittals and approving them for infrastructure projects. • Reviewing purchase requirements and preparing comprehensive Tender Documents for various distribution equipment (like 33 kV, 11kV, LV Cables & Accessories, Metallic kiosks, smart meters, Electric Vehicle Charging Station). • Executing, monitoring, and controlling various contracts, including issuing drawing approvals, manufacturing clearance, inspection, delivery coordination, and payment certification through SAP systems. • Ascertaining liquidated damages due to delivery delays, reviewing supplier justifications, and processing recommendations for waiver/application of liquidated damages as per contract terms. • Reviewing and preparing responses to audit findings, adopting process improvements based on audit suggestions, and obtaining management approval
