Current Doing Hardware troubleshooting and software troubleshooting Cisco and Arista routers and switches. Testing codes (images) and interfaces. Testing BGP, OSPF, RIB and static route cisco routers and juniper Testing connectivity between Nexus Juniper MX devices. Testing VPC and Mlag. Testing iBGP between Arista and Nexus devices. Testing SPANand make sure that packets can be captures using Wireshark. Testing QoS using Ethanalyzer and TCPDump. Designing and implementing small networks in the lab of the company and communicating with the co-workers to get the best result based on the testing technology. Creating new templates for Nexus, Juniper, ASR, and Arista devices by accessing networking devices in production and analyzing the available configurations Updating available templates. Upgrading and downgrading networking devices. Testing L3, Vlan, sub-interfaces, Vlan trunking, and SVI between Cisco and other vendors'. Communicate with Cisco and Arista representatives to meet the company requirements. Classifying cisco, juniper and Arista configurations to know what is needed and what is not needed for the templates. Documentation. Using Visio for designing the network. checking compatibility between the hardware and the image. Attending two weekly meetings, one for the team as a whole and the other one is dedicated for cisco and Arista devices. Analyzing traffic using sniffers programs such as Wireshark and sflow collectors to verify the configurations of sflow, SPAN, QoS, ACLs, Web traffic, vlan trunking, devices’ banners…etc. Testing 100 G interfaces between Nexus 6k, Arista 7k, Juniper MX, ASR 9000 using short range and long ranges single mode and double mode cables. Testing power supply and cooling modules for Nexus devices to make sure that the heat is maintained as required.I worked WLCs configuration and troubleshooting wise and Access Points.
