Work with several teams on the Wealth/Brokerage side of Scotiabank with assessing current maturity of the team and then working on key behavior tiers, iteration by iteration, to mature the team in the direction needed to go.Started a Two Day "Agile 101" course for staff to attend for an end to end understanding of an Agile Journey from an IDEA to Production Launch, incorporating Agile Basics, Opportunity canvasing, Story Mapping and decomposition, and proper User Stories. We do this course using both theory and practical hands on training/simulation for the person taking the course to get a feel and mindset of how Agile works when executed correctly.

Lead team in Agile transformation on the Brokerage side for the online platforms and associated internal applications. Utilized both Scrum and Kanban methodology. Matured the team with improvements on ceremonies (Stand-Ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, etc), WIPs, Policies, Cumulative Flow Diagrams. Took measures when major impediments and blockers hit projects (i.e. lack of Product Owner).Increased quality of communication and transparency to team, management and business stakeholders in order to get maturity initiated on both a team system level.

Lead initiatives and projects from the Scotiabank Brokerage Development Shop for ScotiaOnline.com and internal applications associated with the Online Platform. Served a multitude of business lines such as Scotia iTRADE and Scotia McLeod in leading several big projects, enhancements. and smaller PWO's. Worked closely with Business leads, partners and vendors from the Requirements phase to production launch.Also played the role as Delivery Manager for several projects entailing forecasting, budgeting and reporting of financials.

Lead role in the building of the code base for the Scotia Online application which is a shared application between several groups. (Banking, Brokerage, Mobile). This involved creating processes with the QA / UAT Testing teams for release cycles and ECRs.Assigned to Release Coordination for online application. This required close work with the QA Team to address projects, PWO's, PLogs in a structured and organized fashion.Also assisted in automation tasks to monitor the health of applications within the bank.

Database maintenance, enhancements and reporting.Webmaster for the company website (public facing).Also took care of network tasks when required.
