Abdullah Alrowais has more than 27 years of global business experience, he possesses a strong background in Corporate Governance, Financial Management, Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Controls, Process Improvement, and Fraud Investigation.Throughout his career, Abdullah worked diligently to uphold the principles of integrity, transparency and the highest standards of control and offer an independent and informed opinion to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee. He effectively identified significant financial and operational risks, collaborating with senior management to establish cost-effective controls that safeguarded the interests of the company shareholders.Abdullah Alrowais served as the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) for Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily) from August 2007 to January 2024. Prior to his tenure at Mobily, Abdullah spent seven years at Saudi Aramco, where he held several progressively responsible positions, including IT Audit Manager, Manager of SAP Applications Department, and Associate General Auditor. Before that, he served as an Internal Auditor at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) for eight years.Abdullah is one of the founding members of the Saudi Arabia Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Saud Arabia). He served as a Board Member and Chairman of the Executive Committee of IIA Saudi Arabia Additionally, he currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman and member for various companies in Saudi Arabia.Recognized as an expert in his field, Abdullah has been invited to speak at numerous regional and international conferences, sharing his insightful knowledge on subjects related to Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal Auditing, and Fraud.Abdullah Alrowais holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems from the USA and has successfully completed number of leadership and executive courses from internationally renowned schools such as IMD, INSEAD and London Business School.
