Field Mechanical engineer responsible for Mechanical (HVAC system, Solar system ...) and Plumbing (Sewer system, Storm drainage system, Potable water system, Irrigation system, Fire fighting system) work as follow: - Review the contract, specifications, drawings, industry standards, vendor requirements and other project agreements on the work to be inspected.- check all approved design drawings. - review material requirements for the materials to be used and obtain material samples- review project procedures and/or the contractor quality plan to determine requirements before starting any inspection activities. - identify which forms or documents must be completed.- check that only approved materials have been used.- check key dimensional requirements.- perform any required inspection. - ensure that qualified personnel have preformed the work.- document all inspections per project procedure requirements. - advise of any unacceptable work and the corrective action required.
