Project: LogFish -- An App that is used by fishermen to track information related to their catches. The app's main goal is to create full data ‘logs’ of caught fish by the simple taking of a photo. Using a smartphone camera, GPS and various APIs to record a full data set for each fish caught, with an Offline mode to account for remote locations. The app will also make it easy to share the Alerts with other fishermen, and users can buy and sell the data associated with other fishermen catches.Project: GladConnect -- An integrated application meticulously crafted to serve the diverse needs of Glad Group employees, esteemed customers, and valued partners. This comprehensive platform is especially helpful for parents, allowing them to easily track their child's progress and stay closely connected with the school community.I spearheaded the end-to-end development of a mobile application, starting with the transformation of a Figma design into a fully-fledged React Native application. Through close collaboration with the backend team, I ensured seamless functionality and optimal performance.My role extended beyond development, encompassing active participation in the requirements gathering process. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in refining the Figma design in collaboration with the UI/UX team, ensuring alignment with the project's objectives and user experience goals.GladConnect aims to be used by more than 20k users (Glad Group employees and Customers).

Project: Seccuracy - a cloud-based SAAS enterprise platform which simplifies operational management processes of maritime security industry stakeholders targeting 26k+ vessels.I led the comprehensive development of a mobile application, commencing with the conversion of a Figma design into a robust React Native application. By working closely with the backend team, I upheld impeccable functionality and achieved peak performance standards.My engagement surpassed development tasks, encompassing proactive involvement in the requirements collection phase. Furthermore, I assumed a central role in enhancing the Figma design in partnership with the UI/UX team, guaranteeing harmony with project objectives and user experience benchmarks.

It tracks vital health metrics such as heart rate, steps, distance, calories, and weight, aiding in goal setting and progress monitoring. The app features a doctor directory for easy appointments and a chat function for direct medical communication. With its intuitive design, Fabmedic is a vital tool for individuals seeking proactive health and wellness management.Both of the aforementioned products are strategically poised for launch in the Somalia market. In this endeavor, I collaborated intimately with an agile team composed of 11 adept members, collectively steering the trajectory of these two apps from their inception to their successful deployment on prominent app stores.My contributions were multifaceted and encompassed the meticulous design of mobile screens adhering to industry best practices. These designs were subsequently brought to life through the establishment of functional connections to the backend, meticulously utilizing GraphQL to ensure seamless data flow.Notably, I integrated the "Vonage API Platform" to facilitate secure SMS-based OTP authentication, fortifying the apps' security protocols. Additionally, I leveraged the robust capabilities of "Firebase" to institute seamless social authentication mechanisms.In totality, my endeavors culminated in the creation of not just apps, but holistic digital experiences poised to make a meaningful impact within the Somalia market.
