- Developed frontend UI automation test frameworks and scripts for 3 different projects (web applications and a mobile application): - Designing of frontend GUI automation regression scripts of a web application project (ALL3D) using Cypress testing tool and JavaScript as programming language. - Wrote end-to-end frontend test scripts in Cypress to automate the creation of Shopify stores and integrated them with the platform while working on another web application project (Nostra). - Created frontend and mobile UI test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Appium in Python language while working on a project (SWVL) for their payment module both on the web as well as on mobile.- Built effective test strategies to handle UI automation on different projects: - Crafting frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern to scale up and re-use the components for QA Automation when needed. - Used TDD and DDD frameworks. - Optimised the automation scripts by mocking backend APIs as dynamic waits to make the automation tests less flaky. - Implemented test retries to reduce the failure rate of the scripts in case of anything goes wrong. - Integrated the GUI automation scripts in the bitbucket CI/CD pipelines as an effort to improve the automated tested cycles throughout the software development life cycle. - Added capturing of screenshots and recordings of the whole test runs in case of script failure. - Set up Test Reports to give a brief overview of the test runs. - Resulting in overall stability and speeding up the process of QA Automation with robust automation test suites.
