SCATS® (https://www.scats.nsw.gov.au/home) intelligent traffic management platform synchronises traffic signals to optimise traffic flow. More than just a way of linking traffic signals for road management coordination, SCATS is a sophisticated solution that allows for the implementation of complex, objective-oriented, traffic management strategies.SCATS® has been continually developed for over 40 years and sold to 27 countries, delivering real and measurable reductions in road travel times and delays.• Currently, I am actively involved in the development of the Cit-e module, specifically the Signal Phase and Timing (SPAT) component for the SCATS system. As an Automation Analyst, my role revolves around crafting and enhancing Python-based tests using the Behave (BDD) framework on an Ubuntu 20.04 platform which uses Junit and Allure reporting.• My primary responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated tests with tools such as UFT and TestComplete. Additionally, I oversee the administration of SpiraTeam, serving as the Test Management solution for our dedicated test team. Moreover, I manage the setup and administration of PRTG, a network monitoring tool utilized by the test team.• As a leader within the automation team, my key focus lies in ensuring that we adhere to delivery timelines while surmounting technical challenges effectively. In pursuit of streamlining processes, I am actively involved in creating Utility scripts that significantly reduce manual efforts, thereby enhancing efficiency and productivity.• In tandem with my team, I work collaboratively in a Scrum environment, contributing to the successful development and implementation of the Cit-E module, ultimately enhancing the SCATS system's capabilities.
