I began my journey in the HVAC industry since 1997 when I decided to attend Universal Technical Institute’s HVAC program (Phoenix, AZ) and was awarded an Associate’s Degree focused on HVAC.In 1998 I moved to San Francisco where I was introduced to Server Rooms and Building Automation.Here I fulfilled the roles of a commercial HVAC Technician and Controls Installer. Learned the skills of water treatment, ducting, air balance and building automation retrofits. In 2000 I moved to Dallas, TX and continued in the path of building automation for a year and traveled to several states installing building automation controls. From 2001-2009 I worked in the DFW metroplex for a few Commercial Mechanical Contractors. During this time, I got a TACLA Contractors License and was the sole proprietor of Monreal Service Company for about 3 years. During this time, I fulfilled the roles of residential, commercial HVAC Technician, and owner/business administration.In 2009 I was giving the opportunity to jump back into the path of building automation and worked for a Building Automation distributor and fulfilled my new role as Sales and Technical support for a fast-growing Building Automation Department. I am now a certified in Niagara AX/N4, Johnson FX MSTP, and I’m also a Johnson FX MSTP Authorized Trainer. Other certificates include Spyder BacNet Controllers and Webs Security Bootcamp.I’m thankful to God for opening the doors to the building automation industry and look forward to serving our industry.
