Owners Mechanical Construction Manager and QHSE Advisor at New Capital 4800 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Mega Project. Supervise the EPC contractor’s (Siemens & Orascom) activities during construction, commissioning and Start Up, to ensure a smooth and timely completion of construction and all interface activities. Including but not limited to:8 NEM vertical ASME stamped HRSG’s, 8 x Siemens Frame ‘H” GT’s, 4 x Siemens STG’s and 4 x Air Cooled Condensers. Piping, Stack Diverter Damper, Steel Structure, witness and approve all tests during hot & cold commissioning. Establish all the Owner’s Contractual punch list for all mechanical works.

Construction & Mechanical Manager & QHSE Head, responsible for the management of EPC contracts & reporting of the EPC contractor’s activities during construction and commissioning, ensuring a smooth and timely completion of all construction and interface activities. Attended meetings dealing with all the necessary governmental authorities to ensure all construction approvals where passed. Review all commercial claims from the contractor and report to the Directors as to their merit and assist in the negotiations with the EPC to come to an amicable resolution. Assist in the resolution of disputes. Verification of payment claims. Review and comment of monthly progress reports. Chair site meetings as the OwnerTook part in Design review meetings and confirmed if the proposed design met the contract requirements.Take the lead role for all QHSE matters.The following non-exhaustive list is of, the major projects I was actively involved with in Egypt in addition to the projects below I was sent to projects in Kuwait and Dubai for the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), as well as free-lance construction works in Iraq and Libya.
