Hello, my name is Abelson Abueg, and I am based in Greenville, NC. I have a diverse range of skills and a passion for continuous learning and growth. I received my Master of Science in Software Engineering at East Carolina University in July 2023. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Outstanding Senior Award. During my studies, I also earned a Certificate in Computer Game Development.In my professional experience, I have been part of ER Studios, LLC, a game development startup, since its inception in 2018. As the Chief Operating Officer and Project Manager, I have been involved in the continuous development of our flagship project, Apeiron. Working closely with the team, I have honed my project management skills, ensuring high standards and aligning our vision with the development process. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have engaged in research and software projects that have broadened my skill set. As a graduate assistant at East Carolina University, I am conducting research for my master's thesis, showcasing my ability to delve into complex topics and contribute to the field. In previous research roles, I have explored areas such as speaker recognition and discrimination in kidney transplant data analysis, highlighting my analytical thinking and research abilities.I have also been involved in exciting software projects, such as Project Custos, a community-oriented mobile application, where I served as a Front-End Lead Developer and Project Manager. Through this experience, I have honed my teamwork and collaboration skills, while also providing mentorship to aspiring developers.My skill set extends beyond software engineering, including project planning, project management, agile methodologies, and an array of programming languages, web development technologies, and cloud platforms.
