I took the role of an Architect of a newly formed team in Q3 2018 that is now currently building the next generation IoT enabled infrastructure for the Philips Remote Services.IoTHub - this piece of technology is going to serve as the connectivity and remote serviceability central brain for all new Philips Devices going forward.Current Responsibilities:1. Was part of the Architectural and design team who conceptualized the initial idea and early E2E ARchitecture and design for the product.2. Product Requirement and user story analysis and creation of detailed designs for the team.3. NFR specfication and risk management4. Prototypes and POCs required for technology/concept evaluation5. Development activities to research and develop remote servicing capabilities for multi-vendor hospital devices (non-Philips) as well as legacy Philips devices. Was responsible for the E2E quality and delivery for the Diagnostic Site Server Suite of products in Philips.Responsibilities during this tenure:1. Product Requirements collection from respective stakeholders.2. Analysis and detailing of the product requirements and user stories.3. Creation of the Architectural runway for the Diagnostic Site Server product4. Creation of detailed design and workflows required to satisfy the requirements and as an input for the team to work on.5. Hands-on developement of individual stories along with the team6. It was the first major assignment that was entrusted upon me after I joined. This was a very important user story in terms of proper management of a Device Type file, which is a crucial component in the whole MV scheme of things. There were challenges that was faced including collecting all requirements, coming up with designs which will address scalability, performance and security concerns
