(b) Certification of autopilot on a FAR-25 certified aircraft. The flight trials was a great opportunity in understanding the concept of hardover.(c) Using the past experience and studying the certification documents, devised a common HMI for integrating two TCAS systems of different origin on the FAR-23 glass cockpit. The HMI was developed considering minimum crew intervention and maximizing the commonality with past procedures. This reduced cross-training requirements for crew graduating to glass cockpit SOP.
