With a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management in progress, I have a unique combination of technical knowledge and business acumen that enables me to excel in the field of procurement. As a Procurement Intern at Synergy Marine Group, I am responsible for managing the company's ERP system (Ship Palm), acquiring and analyzing purchase requisitions (PRs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) for six ships, generating purchase orders (POs) for the approved quotations, updating the port activity log (PAL) to ensure the reception of requested spares, and processing invoices to secure payments for the vendors within due time. I have met the KPIs set by my reporting manager and contributed to the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the procurement process.I am highly motivated and possess excellent communication and process mapping skills. My goal is to continue building my knowledge and skills in supply chain management and procurement, and to make a positive impact on the organization and the industry.
