IFOR is the premier robotics and drones club at BPDC, we are essentially a student research body that specialize in applied Machine Learning and Computer Vision. We participate in robotics and research competitions, initiate and develop club projects and hold several workshops at our university. As the president my role is to:1) Set and Monitor Goals for the Club2) Initiate lead, and help developing club projects3) Help mentor and train student members4) Run club meetings,5) Interact with other student bodies for collaboration6) Interact and communicate with faculty department heads7) Manage and oversea the club budget, resources and equipment.8) Participate in compeitions, and help team stay focused9) Lead project development on robotic systems and algorithms

I was the Hardware Head at IFOR, a student research group at Bits Dubai that specializes in applied machine learning and robotics. During this post I:1) Won First place at the 16th IEEE Student Competition2) Got shortlisted to the final round for the first Emirates Robotics Competition3) Wrote a research paper on "Autonomous Mobile Navigation Using Real Time Semantic ImageSegmentation on Low Powered Embedded Devices" which got selected for the final round of the 10th Abu Dhabi Undergraduate Research Competition4) Developed a fully autonomous mobile vehicle that can perform lane detection, object detection and avoidance and traffic light detection.5) Developed a virtual Ping Pong game that can be controlled using real life ping pong rackets(embedded with Arduino, accelerometers, and gyroscopes)6) Conducted several workshops on computer vision and basics of arudino
