Team management - Manage multiple functions within the Data team - Act as an integrator between different functions within the Data Team- Closely monitor company updates, assess possible repercussions and define action items.- Working with other teams to bring in more projects and expand the scope of the team.- Effective utilization of resources - Build Self sufficient team members with a drive for growth.- Ensure that concerns of the team members are addressed & escalated - Make sure the team is updated on new technologies/Skills that are relevant - Develop a goal-oriented mindset for the team.Project Management- Liaison with Engineering/Product owners to ensure that adequate support is provided for all projects - Undertake complete ownership of projects in the team by ensuring the following:- The goal of the project is defined- Ensure adequate resources are available to complete the project on time.- Ensure adequate resources are available to complete the project on time."- Ensure that process is been followed- Review presentations/reports prepared by the team members and suggest changes- Ensure that issues are cascaded/escalated as required.- Lead the presentation of the analysis with the stakeholders.- Build necessary skills, product and functional knowledge to match the project requirements.Process Optimisations/Improvements- Timely improvement of the process as and when required- Introduce new tools and technologies to improve the data analysis process.- Always have an eye for automation and liaison with managers and engineering team for implementation- Generate new ideas for various data experiments/analysis that act as a driving force to improve data quality.- Ensure that issues are reported and discussed in sync with corresponding teams- Ensure that agenda is there for all meetings and that the issues are escalated if needed in a timely manner- Bring issues to closure after proper discussion
