My role involved coordinating logistics, managing demand forecasting, and optimizing inventory to meet urgent and critical needs of medical oxygen during COVID pandemic. It involved leading the logistics team to ensure uninterrupted oxygen supply to hospitals, developing demand forecasts and contingency plans to meet critical shortages & collaborating across departments to streamline processes and enhance supply chain efficiency. Additionally, I supported a strategic project aimed at expanding the company’s capabilities by manufacturing hydrogen gas in-house. This involved conducting feasibility assessments, assisting in infrastructure planning, and laying groundwork for new product distribution.

Maintained raw material flow within warehouse such that raw material demand of production is well-planned & fulfilled. Worked on improving the internal supply chain within the warehouse such that production takes place as planned. Locate the bottleneck within the warehouse process and ensure synchronisation between warehouse and production. Also made a few suggestions regarding warehouse layout.• A detailed analysis on current material flow, Value stream map of the current process.• Recommendations on changes in warehouse material flow process and optimum usage of available warehouse space.• Changes in Physical layout of the facility.• Ensuring synchronisation between Production facility & Warehouse operations.

Worked on reducing costs incurred due bad/incorrect deliveries. Used Six Sigma methodology for finding the root cause/s that lead to bad deliveries. Made suggestions to reduce number of bad deliveries which were implemented later on. Was awarded a “Six Sigma Green Belt” for this project.- The goal is to reduce their non-conformance costs. i.e. the costs due to bad quality deliveries. - Bad quality delivery signifies deliveries outside time frame and damaged deliveries. - To reduce the number of such deliveries which will lead to reduction in non-conformance costs and lead to business benefits.
