I am a graduate in Early Childhood Studies with a 1st class degree and, and have also completed my MA in Early Childhood Leadership and Practice. I believe through undergoing my MA in this particular course, it has extended and elevated my knowledge to a leaderships level. Thus, through engaging and completing a teacher training programme, it will enable me to enact my existing knowledge into practice and develop an effective teaching and learning experience.I hold short term experience in working with reception, year 2 and year 6, whereby I undertook teaching assistant roles such as; Supporting the teacher during lesson in class (Reception, Year 2 and 6), Reading book to whole class (Year 2), Doing 1-1 comprehension (small group intervention) (Year 6), Small group of maths intervention (Year 6), Marking class work and homework (Year 6), Small group of English SAT question intervention (Year 6) setting out different activities on table (Reception) and lastly, play and lunch time supervision in the playground (Reception, Year 2 and Year 6).
