Supported on the Fashion Marketing Course.Shadowed and then ran the 1st years lecture and subsequent 2 hour seminars on the 7P's.Wrote and ran the 2nd year lecture and seminars on the Promotional Mix.During these sessions I engaged and built up rapport with the students by having a sound subject knowledge and being able to attribute the theory to real life industry examples.It was great to see the passion and receive feedback from the students in the seminars and be able to offer any industry advice.

Responsible for Buying a variety of Womenswear departments including Blouses, Tailoring and Outerwear.Key Skills;Trend Prediction and Awareness- Developed Product Ranges in line with customer commerciality. Management and Motivation- engaging and coaching junior members on the team to ensure the personal and professional targets are met. High staff retention and strong team morale. Saw 12 team members promoted.Strong negotiator, with international supplier experience enabling full visibility of the cost breakdown structure- enabling reduced retail SP’s and/or increased margin/ improved product.Exceptional Presentation skills, having presented ranges and product to 100+ Store Managers as well as Directors and Chief Executives across various meetings.Strategic Thinker- planning new strategies across departments in terms of product and price architecture resulting in increased sales.Time Management- ensuring all products are kept to a strict Critical Path including re- sourcing key programmes.
