In my part-time role as a teaching and media assistant at an international primary school, I worked closely with students aged 8-12 in various classes, providing academic support with homework, class activities and extracurriculars specifically examination support. I also assisted with planning and marking assignments.In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I had the exciting opportunity to contribute to the media component of the school. I worked on capturing content for school events through both video and photography, ensuring that important moments were documented and preserved. I also played a role in designing newsletters, using my creativity and attention to detail to create visually appealing and informative materials. This media component allowed me to utilise my creative skills in capturing and promoting school events.Through this role, I gained valuable insights into the impact of curriculum on primary school children and different approaches to teaching and learning that are tailored to individual abilities and comprehension levels. I also developed an understanding of how testing and assessment are conducted for primary school children, allowing me to support students in their learning journeys.Overall, my part-time role as a teaching and media assistant at an international primary school provided me with a unique blend of classroom support and media involvement. This experience allowed me to contribute to students' academic growth, while also helping me develop a broader understanding of primary education and the various factors that influence it.

Selected as UWC Africa Week Chief Executive in 2022, leading, overseeing and driving a student-led non-profit organisation in driving its mission and operations.Highlights-Played a pivotal role in successfully securing the first-ever corporate sponsorships for the event in its 9-year history; by successfully establishing partnerships with notable organizations such as Eswatini Bank, Standard Bank, the British High Commission in Eswatini, Provident Fund, Hilton Garden Inn, and facilitated workshops in collaboration with the United Nations in Eswatini. My responsibilities in this role were as follows:- Led and managed a team of 40 dedicated members, providing guidance, support and motivation.- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the school's advancement office.- Making proposals and pitches to corporate firms, seeking funding to support our initiatives and further our cause.- Played an integral role in streamlining and refining our programs to align with our overarching theme. - Served as as a key point of contact for any necessary coordination or approvals with school administration.- Ordered promotional materials for our branding.

Selected as Project Manager of UWC Africa Week in 2021, carrying out a diverse range of responsibilities, from liaising with external stakeholders and ensuring smooth internal operations to managing budgets and promoting effective communication.
