Working at NUFC has provided the opportunity to learn new skills, develop personally, and meet new people each and every shift. Main duties include ensuring spectator safety during events, maintaining a high level of customer service throughout, and ensuring each and every visitor has the best experience possible, as part of the wider security and stewarding operation.

Through this internship I developed Northumbria's dedicated sociology twitter account to an active page, sharing events and stories from within the department. This included producing staff profiles for current and future students to get to know the staff better, and for staff to have their important and personal stories told. I also had the opportunity to network with other student interns and staff within the department, building valuable connections.
