I am an experienced healthcare emergency coordinator who is passionate about helping others. I am currently the Central Virginia Regional Coordinator for the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) at the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). I joined VDH in 2017 as part of the Crater Health District's Emergency Preparedness and Response Team, before moving to the MRC in 2021. My career focuses on opioid response outreach and coordination, interpreting regional health data to provide resources to underserved populations while strengthening community resilience, and grant management. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University and hold several certifications from the National Emergency Management Institute and FEMA. I believe volunteerism is vital to public health and am inspired by the MRC volunteers who prove that every day!
