Risk Engineering develop customised strategies that address individual exposures to potential for loss and provide cost effective, practical solutions based on international standards and loss lessons. I worked at the Risk engineering Assistant providing administrative and technical support to all UK and EU risk engineering teams. As the central point of contact for the department I communicate daily with clients, brokers and third party engineers.My role demands a wide range of responsibilities that include: • Allocating and monitoring all internal and external engineer surveys.• Maintaining all risk engineering administration and the departments customer outlook accounts.• Preparing and supplying all risk engineering and underwriting reporting required by the business.• Providing administrative and technical support for the engineering system ‘Risknet’ to internal engineers, third party engineers, clients and Underwriting. • Preparing and issuing all loss prevention reports and documentation to clients, Brokers and Underwriters.• Liaising daily with UK and EU Underwriting teams for risk information and assisting the communication between engineer and Underwriter due to the engineers being home based.

Providing a high quality support service to all areas of the business, maintaining and improving efficiency of work activities, facilitating problem resolution, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the companies underwriting and claims source systems.
