I am the President of the Charlestown Chamber of Commerce. My goals include promoting Charlestown as a vibrant Retail and Restaurant destination. I would love to see more stores open and restaurants, bakeries, etc. as our residential housing continues to grow and folks decide to stay in the city with their families. Originally hired as a National Sale Manager for Laboratory Equipment, I was promoted in November of 2006 to Associate Publisher for Laboratory Equipment, BioScience Technology and Drug Discovery & Development. In June of 2007, my manager and I decided it would be best to focus on the big book - Laboratory Equipment; and our new publication, Chromatography Techniques. "LE" is a $5Million + publication and the crown jewel in ABM's portfolio. I moved into the roll of Publisher for both publications as of July 2007 - and have been working with a strong team to grow revenue, execute new web sites, and deliver cutting edge editorial, educational web casts and product filled newsletters.

Planned Annual Conference. Managed on-site conference management. Worked directly with Speakers, etc.

Advertising Sales and Project Management for the banking daily financial services newspaper. I managed several territories and disciplines over my 10 years at American Banker; helped to launch FutureBanker, Financial Services Marketing, and American Banker's Special Reports (from Community Banking to Best in Banking, etc. Worked extremely closely with clients and colleagues to produce Banker of the Year dinner and awards (held each December) - recognizing such industry winners as Jamie Diamond. Consistently won monthly sales contests, President's Club, Team & Leadership Awards throughout my tenure at AB.

Sold over 1.2 Million worth of Advertisements. Managed the Mid West Territory and eventually, Northeast.
