I am University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education alumni. I obtained my Master of Education in School Counseling. I received my Bachelors of the Arts in Sociology at the University of California, Riverside. As a transfer student, I have gained substantial knowledge and first hand experience navigating as a first generation college student which sparked my interest in counseling and supporting students throughout their college careers. During my undergrad education, I received certification as a trained mentor from UCR, which helped me identify my passion working with college level students.Taking my experience outside of the education field, I serve in young adults ministry leadership at VERVE Community as the Young Adults Worship Lead, encouraging Christ believers to find their life’s purpose through spiritual freedom. I have a hunger for the heart of God, a hunger for those who feel lost, and a hunger for those seeking life-giving community. It has become my life’s purpose to serve those I work alongside of with the mission that life is made to be lived out abundantly in community.
