Implemented a FHIR compliant Consent Management infrastructure using Hyperledger for Duke University. Implement Consent, Contract, and Provenance resources; multi-token OAuth workflow, integrated with HAPI and Open Epic, integrated Yubikey and JWT security tokens. End was result was a digital wallet application and distributed app (DApp) platform that can store provenance and consent hashes on a hyperledger, thereby allowing secondary applications to fetch permissions from the chain. Sample application was an SMS notification utility that provided custom workflow to email reminders to patients based on the consent information they had stored on the chain. Presented the work to the HL7 Security Group and the Veterans Administration, and provided other liaison work with the HL7 Working Groups.
