NEON Model Management is a global social media and influencer agency, managing over 400 talent. My responsibilities included:- PR management for the company, its founder & talent- Raising brand awareness & creating new media relationships- Seeking brand partnership and sponsorship opportunities- Assisting on brand activations and events for clients including PLT- Managing the portfolio of influencers, overseeing negotiations & arranging castings and bookings- Reviewing the effectiveness of collaborations through social insights- Managing the influencer database and arranging payments- Scouting new influencers to join NEON Model Management

Responsibilities included:- Promoting all Radio 1 shows and their DJs- Launching the new Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Greg James- Managing the publicity for the BBC's biggest youth events - Radio 1's Big Weekend, Radio 1's Teen Awards & Radio 1 in Ibiza- Engaging influencers with the Radio 1 brand through influencer activations- Leading on national campaigns for Music on TV including shows 'Ariana Grande at the BBC'- Crisis management

Having been selected from hundreds of applicants, I spent twelve months on a communications trainee scheme at the BBC. During that time I have worked in several departments including TV, corporate events, corporate press office and digital communications. Some of my responsibilities have included;• Arranging corporate events for MPs and opinion formers including receptions for Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, BBC Proms and Director General Conferences.• Assisting at live events including BBC Music Awards, Teen Awards, BBC Proms and BBC Films 25th Anniversary.• Delivering publicity campaigns for a range of TV content including Doctor Who, The Fall, Brian Pern: A Life in Rock, The Gift and more.• Writing a range of publicity materials such as programme information, press releases, corporate newsletters and briefings• Coordinating social media outreach for digital campaigns including BBC Taster.• Dealing with journalist enquiries and media monitoring in the corporate press office giving me a sense of handling crisis communications• Talent management

Over my 12 months at UKTV, I worked across all 10 channels over Entertainment Lifestyle and Factual. I worked alongside several departments including Marketing, Legal, Commissioning and Scheduling, as well as external organisations such as distribution and production companies, picture desks and journalists. My role consisted of the following responsibilities:* Primary responsibility over the picture desk* Liaising with journalists managing video and image content* Sourcing publicity materials from distribution and production companies * Assisting publicists on press campaigns* Carrying out admin duties including press cuttings and invoices* Coordinating publicity brainstorms and press mail outs* Liaising with schedulers and managing ring rounds for TV listings

Manchester City Council was my first experience of PR, which I carried out for 4 weeks.
