•Establish solid working relationships with internal customers, logistics, distribution and external suppliers•Co-ordinates with Material planning and Tech service Engineers for all requests raised by the Engineering section to ensure compliance to airworthiness requirements, policies and procedures, from approved sources at the most competitive price including overseeing / monitoring the procurementactivities of Materials section.•Investigate and provide adequate sourcing solutions for material and services in the timeframerequired by the customer.•Raise Purchase Orders in accordance with purchasing procedures•Comply with ITAR requirements and regulations for importation/exportation.•Ensure dates for inventory and non-inventory lines are up-to-date in ERP.•Liaise with suppliers to ensure performance as per procedure and provide reporting as required.•Manage all QA issues & return queries raised with the supplier•Investigate, coordinate and resolve the supplier payment issues•Provide support to ensure OTD for internal and external orders is met•Manage the escalation process to ensure that all of the orders are delivered as per their priority level.•Review status of inventory with a view to optimize holdings•Provide reporting and support as requested by the Team Leader and HOD.•Solicits quotes, negotiates with suppliers for obtaining best value for money.•Maintains up to date and accurate procurement records for future reference and audit purpose.•Provides input and recommendations on pricing for budgetary purposes to cost center holder; ensures alignment to approved budget.•Seeks continually new better sources of supplies for best cost and quality material and services.
