During my career as an Advocate - 1) Handled clients 2) Delivered results 3) Devised legal strategies to win litigations 4) Researched legal propositions 5) Drafted documents & agreements6) Drafted letters & notices7) Drafted plaints, petitions etc. So far as litigations are concerned I have mostly worked at - 1) High Court, Calcutta 2) Debt Recovery Tribunal; 3) National Company Law Tribunal (mostly Kolkata Bench)I've handled matters mostly relating to : 1) Contractual Laws,2) Arbitrations & Mediations, 2) Banking matters, 3) Bankruptcy Code, 4) Companies Act, 5) Testamentary, 6) Administrative Laws and Writ Petitions. I have always enjoyed drafting Plaints, Affidavits and Petitions as well as contractual agreements. Talking about Legal Research, I vividly remember not giving up. My gentle yet firm approach towards my clients has helped me create a strong rapport with them. I have been lucky to have briefed senior lawyers and barristers of the High Court. My ability to construct legal arguments either by simply interpreting the law and/or by co-relating the facts of a given case with that of judicial precedence helps me accomplish the desired results for my clients. I'm regularly briefed by various law firms in Calcutta and I've been fairly fortunate to learn how to approach any given matter and the ways to interpret the law. In my limited experience, I'm given to understand that it's not necessary to memorize all the laws, but it is quintessential to be able to formulate how to get to the law or where the law is.
