As the project manager, I am now establishing this international Joint Venture Company by being in the lead of the planning & implementation with an international team.

The sustainable business is based on the “go-to-market” strategy of the product named JutePP® - Jute fibre reinforced plastic granule. JutePP® - is one of the results of the first big RTDI (Research, Technological Development and Innovation) project.JutePP® granule is the alternative sustainable raw material for mould injection which has been successfully tested in finished plastic products with 30% to 50 % of Jute fibres and 50% to 70% virgin as well as recycled polypropylene. As the Sustainable Business Development Manager, I have been leading this green business development of taking the lab-scale prototype to the market. The early phase of this green business is co-sponsored by the Nordic Climate Facility (NCF), which is a challenge fund that finances innovative climate change projects. It is financed by the Nordic Development Fund, international development and climate finance institution established by the Nordic countries.

Farmer to Factory Jute Supply Chain (F2F™) is the first-ever, a comprehensive value chain transformation based on a unique business model initiated by Juteborg as part of its circular business model. F2F™ envisions to use certified Jute fibre as the input material in Jute high tech products which is traceable while giving a fair price to the farmers by making the value chain sustainable. As the project manager, the sustainable value chain development is being led from the F2F™ model conceptualization to a successful validation based on co-creation workshops, dialogue engaging cross border stakeholders etc. At present, the business model around the transformed value chain is being developed by attracting potential fund and public-private investments for the pilot implementation of the validated model.

The project is to validate the viability of making the most sustainable cost-effective cable pipe solution called JuteSnapSplitPipe™ for Bangladesh where the plastic pipe market is estimated as €670 million with 20% annual growth rate.The original Snap Split Pipes™ is the product of Green Pipe of Sweden AB which is innovatively designed cable pipe solution with fast installation capability making it easier for installers. Besides, the installation without the need for tools leads to low costs. The novel locking system provides secure and reliable protection for the cable.As the project manager, I am conducting the viability assessment of the Swedish innovative product Snap Split Pipe™ for the South Asian market. The outcome of this VAP is the validation of the technical, commercial, socioeconomic and legal viability of the most sustainable cable pipe product based on Swedish technology i.e JuteSnapSplitPipe™ made of JutePP® - Jute fibre reinforced plastic granule, primarily for the growing Bangladesh market with the expansion potential in the South Asia. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 822273.

BAT Bangladesh is a part of British American Tobacco plc, one of the world’s most international businesses, with brands sold in more than 200 markets around the world.Performed the role of a national Business Analyst to generate insights of the local market using SAP, BI, Qlik View platforms, communicate to the regional/global headquarter to secure future investment for developing the local business. Actively supported the top team with consumer, trade and macro-economic insights to secure prioritised investments. Actively conducted data driven business research projects for transforming the information management system to drive efficiency.

Transformed the business with a team of 11 company management and 600+ field force by strengthening brands position through revamping the national distribution network, merchandising execution, suppliers’ management, distributors rationalisations. Led the sales team and achieved annual sales growth of 14% and 18% respectively & a market share gain of staggering 4% in the 2 years (2013-14).Successfully led & coached 7 distributors & 11 Territory Officers to move up to the next level in the career.
