I am an experienced construction insurance professional and leader of the UK Projects Team at Howden Construction & Infrastructure Assets Division.I have personally worked with and am proud of several signature projects with highlights including advice and placement of the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics programme for construction, operation and legacy conversion and several major transport related infrastructure projects in UK and overseas.I have over 35 years of broking experience commencing with placements to the UK contractors market before transitioning into projects on a global basis. I have developed a strong specialisation within PPP/Project Finance, developers and major infrastructure projects. I am a strong problem solver focused on providing the best outcomes for clients. I led the Research Study Group for the Insurance Institute of London in respect to Insuring Privately Financed Projects, published in 2009 and was part of a group tasked by the Institute to produce a Supplement to the Construction Insurance Research Study Group 208b. I now act as chair of the IIL Research Study Committee.I graduated from the University of Bristol in 1986 with a degree in Economics and Accounting and am a Chartered Insurance Broker (ACII).Outside of the office I enjoy running, sport, reading and wildlife.I am looking to connect with CEO’s, CFO’s, Insurance or Risk Managers, Directors, Asset Managers, Commercial Managers and prospective employees.
