Founder and President of The Baton Foundation. The organization sponsors the Cultural Heritage Program (CHP) for Black boys ages 10-15. The CHP is a dynamic, bi-weekly seminar that meets for three hours on Saturday mornings during the academic year. During the seminars, participants learn important information regarding Black history and culture. Participants also explore ways to broaden their self-awareness and engage in activities designed to teach self-mastery. Provide quality exhibit and museum services to grassroots, small and mid-size socio-cultural organizations. I am particularly committed to serving the needs of organizations and institutions in low-income, rural and developing communities. Services include public program design and development, curatorial services and curriculum design and development.

Facilitated over 700 oral history conversations both in Atlanta an in the Southeast region. Helped manage the organizations broad community outreach component.

Managed the organization's Museum Fellows Program--a year-long, academic/apprenticeship program designed to train minority students for careers in the museum profession. Also created and oversaw the museum's initiatives to increase African American participation on all levels--from the Board to visitorship.

Served as museum consultant for Orange County Historical Museum (now Orange County Regional History Center), Orlando, Florida; and the Town of Eatonville, Eatonville, Florida. Conducted research for both clients and curated an exhibit for the Town of Eatoville about its history as the first incorporated Black municipality in the United States..

Managed all aspects of fee-based education programs for youth and their families. Created and managed budget, hired and managed staff of 30+ teachers and volunteers and conceptualized and designed programs.

Created and implemented one of the first Institute of Museum Services (now IMLS) funded museum/school partnership programs. The program was based on Fred Wilson's award-winning exhibit "Mining the Museum." Served as liaison between the Museum and Baltimore City schools, and helped managed the museum's outreach trunk program.
