Feeling at home in industry as well as in science and education, my professional interest is bridging the fields of medicine and engineering. Based on five degrees, I developed and used methods for functional capacity evaluation in medicine, sports science and forensics. Hand-on patient testing, data management and analysis or visualisation of complex data has been a common part of my past. Additionally, I provided support for Insurance companies, hospitals of scientific instituions as a consultant.As dissemination of knowledge under practical considerations, I I taught internationally and at higher education centers in four different languages, resulting in large international and educational projects.My international experience allows for including cultural aspects in my decisions. I also gained extensive leadership and business experience in different positions. I organised small and large events and supported start-ups in their development. Experience in organisation of international meetings and dissemination of knowledge are both part of my portfolio.My main professional interest are the application of scientific methods for human-machine-interfaces, the related data-analysis, data-management as well as data security and privacy.My goal is to improve the quality in health technology and finding solutions for providing better healthcare.
