Lead one of the first teams in the company that uses Amazon Lex to develop a customer-facing chatbot. Our chatbot offers our customers another channel to receive quick assistance that is 24/7 available. It reduces the number of calls to the call center. And it takes repetitive tasks off of the hands of representatives to allow them to focus on helping customers with the really important issues. As a lead developer, I collaborate with the team to create patterns and standards for the lambda code, the bot backend, architect the intent model, establish metrics to measure the performance of the chatbot, and to integrate our chatbot with internal legacy systems to automate customer's requests in the chat.

As a Lead Developer, I am responsible for maintaining a Tier 1 Application.
