Being an operations manager teaches you a thing or two. It’s a job I think was created for me. I’m obsessed with designing better systems within my team to ensure everyone’s life is easier. I have gained a passion in creating patient specific messaging and introducing new innovative changes to improve workflows and increase productivity. My creative and colorful sheets keep everything easy to find in the ever changing world of healthcare. One of my favorite parts of my career is teaching myself how to adapt to hardship and learn new skills. When I decided I was going to dip my foot into data, I didn’t know I would gain a newfound understanding in trends and analytics. This has helped engage me and my team towards the company’s mission. The data gives a clear picture of our hard work and dedication. As a leader, sharing these insights help engage my team towards the bigger picture. I’ve learned to not let the number drown out the success we create daily. I like to remind myself, our goals aren’t just about attaining a number but creating access to health care for those who may not think about it often. Engaging with patients one on one makes it easy to put people first. I put pride in delivering healthcare services and practicing them in my everyday life. It enriches me to focus not only the physical but the mental and emotional aspects within everyday health.
